We are very excited to have launched the new algae geek site! This overhaul has been a long time coming and opens up a whole new set of opportunities to share and teach through our experiments.

Through the coming months we will be publishing articles amassed over the past year with information about lab and small reactor setup, phytoplankton, microphytes and planktonic algae. Reactor design and considerations and closed loop systems of energy production from algae.

We have done a good deal of automation and control systems for algae production that we think will be of great interist to many of our fans.

We will also start answering those questions we always get on harvesting, processing and extraction methods for oil as well as for consumption.
